Fostering Ethical Organizational Climate and Workplace Spirituality To Prevent Deviance and Misbehaviours at Workplace

The objective of this research is to examine the role workplace spirituality in reducing undesirable behaviours. Organizational misbehaviour, as defined by Vardi and Wiener 1996 1, any voluntary act employees that violates fundamental organizational or society norms. Employee deviant behavior employee deliberate activity breaches standard norms organization endangers well-being." Deviant misbehaviors occur within are often deemed unethical deviations sometimes develop due environmental factors. Factors environment such support, management conflict, work demand have been shown be significant correlates behaviors. Deviations identified responses stimulus elicits negative emotional state among employees. Additionally, it aims investigate "ethical climate" a potential catalyst enhancing effects on unruly Data was collected from 158 salespersons employed private sector banking insurance organizations analysed using AMOS-SEM (structural equation modelling). findings suggested direct positive relationship exists between ethical climate. Also, climate exerted misbehaviours, thereby them acted an overall mediator misbehaviours salespeople working insurance. implications can help professionals financial sectors curbing embracing more spiritual culture for benefit their workers, company, greater society. Thus, novel specifically focus how with mediating effect makes difference.
